Our Story

My husband and I started Bark Haven with one simple goal: to create an RV park designed with dogs in mind. We wanted to build a place where both you and your four-legged companion could enjoy a comfortable, relaxing stay together.

In the spring of 2025, we broke ground on what would become Bark Haven. Like any dream worth pursuing, the journey wasn't without its challenges. From funding hurdles to weeks of torrential rain, there were plenty of obstacles that tested us along the way. Through it all, we kept our vision—and our opening day—in sight.

Just one month before our grand opening, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our beloved dog, Tonto. Though he never had the chance to see Bark Haven welcome its first guests, his spirit is woven into everything we've built. He proudly remains our park's mascot, and his memory will forever live on in our hearts.

In the summer of 2026, we proudly welcomed our first guests by opening our first four RV sites. As we continue to grow, we're excited to complete the remaining sites and add even more dog-friendly amenities in the fall of 2026.
